Terms & Conditions 

NOTICE

 We will be away from the 25th June - 15th July! 

The 31st May will be the last day you can order to make sure you recieve before before we leave. 

Any orders placed after the end of may will not be started until the 16th july. 

Delivery

As of the 1st April orders will take between 6 - 8 weeks. This is for both UK and international orders. However if you need your order by a certain date please contact first before ordering, to see what current waiting times are, or if a rush order is possible. 

Smaller accessory items, like mitts, cuffs, pasites, necklaces may take up to 2weeks but aim to be out within 1 week.

All items are made to order so please allow up to 5 weeks for delivery within the UK and 6 weeks for international delivery. At peak times orders can take up to 7weeks.  If you are wanting an order for a certain date please contact before ordering for current waiting times and if this is possible. 

What you receive when placing an order with Violaceous Latex.

Included in the price of our items are the following.

• Colour combination advice
• Made to measure sizing (if you select this option, made to measure is advised and is offered at no extra cost.
• Measuring advice - This can be done via email, using the form in the custom size section.
• Alterations to the design, if this does not affect the cost of the item.
• Quick replies via email if you have any other questions.

What is not included (but can be added for an extra cost)

• Design alterations that will affect the price of the time. (such as busts adding to dresses)
• Additional trimmings – extra bows, pleats, faux bottoms

Rush Orders

Depending on current waiting times, it is sometimes possible to offer a rush order. This service is available depending on when you need the order by, where the order will be shipped to, if we have the desired colours in stock (or they can be ordered with enough time).  As a rush order is made in a much shorter space of time an extra charge for 25% of the total order of items will be charged.

Custom Designs

Here at Violaceous Latex we love to make your ideas come to life. You can come to us with a basic idea or with an idea you have drawn yourself. If you have a basic idea we will draw up 3 ideas for you to pick from. Please remember this does cost our time to do this. We can offer advice on colour combination and trimming detail. Once you decide on a design you will be given a price for the design, you will then be sent the final idea. Once approved you will be invoiced for the order.

Please note at Violaceous Latex we will not copy other peoples work. We work hard to offer distinctive and unique designs. We are happy to alter our designs to your needs but will not replicate other designer work, however if you send us other designer latex pictures to colour match or for style inspiration this is fine.

Payment

All prices are in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP).  Payments are made online securely through Paypal.  

Why paypal? "PayPal is a safer, faster, more secure way to pay online – your financial details are never shared. We remember everything for you, safeguarding your bank, credit or debit card details."

Other forms of payment are available on arrangement, also with the option of paying with installments, contact us if you would like to discuss these options. 

Returns, Refunds, Cancelling an Order

Please contact us before a return is sent. 

All items are made to measure, therefore exempt from distance selling regulations regarding cancellation. If you place an order then decide you want to cancel it you can do this within 72hours of placing the order.  After this we are unable to accept cancellations as your order will have gone into production or latex will have been ordered.

Returns are accepted within 7days of receiving the order, this only applies to items made to standard sizes. Goods must be unworn. You then may exchange your order or receive a refund. 

Orders for custom designs and made to measure items are non-returnable and non-refundable.

For international returns, all packages need to be marked as 'returned goods' to prevent custom charges. If a package is not marked as such then we may not accept the return or charge the customs and tax duty to you.

Please contact us before returning any item. 

Postage

Please pick the correct delivery. Only orders under £46 can be sent first class recorded or via standard airmail. If the wrong option is selected you will be invoice for the remaining amount.

Orders in the UK under £46 are send first class recorded. Orders over £46 are sent special delivery. The price for special delivery in the UK reflects the total order cost and weight. Packages are insured up to full order cost. Special Delivery starts from £7.50.

International orders within the EU that are under £50 are sent standard Airmail. Orders over £50 are sent Airsure and start from £8.50.

International orders to Australia that are over £50 will be sent via International Signed For and prices are from £12, otherwise it will be sent via standard airmail. 

International orders to the rest of the world, under £50 will be sent standard airmail, otherwise will be send with Airsure, prices are from £10. 

Please note that for customers outside of the UK, your country may impose custom charges, which we are not responsible for.

If the parcel is returned to Violaceous Latex because you are not in when it is delivered and you do not collect the parcel from your local post/sorting office, you will be charged to have the parcel resent. 

Packaging

All items are lightly dusted and wrapped in tissue paper. Any metal parts like press studs, buckles and zippers are wrapped in foam. Items are then thoughtfully wrapped and put in a clear zip lock bag. 

Latex items are posted in a bubble foam mailing bag and only labeled with address and return address. 

It is your responsibility to read all the order information before ordering. Violaceous Latex can not be held responsible if you have not read the terms.
